PG&E Backfill Sand

PG&E Backfill Sand is sand that has been approved for use in PG&E inspected jobs. PG&E Backfill Sand is commonly used for filling many types of spaces. When using this sand don’t expect it be soft and smooth, like mason sand. Instead, it is coarse and sticks together. The biggest benefit is that it compacts very well so it is great for any type of job, big or small. If you are using it for landscaping purposes you should make sure that you dress the top of the sand with screened soil. It is also generally used for golf courses and horse arenas. It can be used for the feature aspects in the visual presentation of golf courses. For the horse arenas and equestrians centers, it serves the purpose for the horses to train in the sand lightly without jolting on hard surfaces before and after racing.

This sand will contain small amounts of tiny sea shells due to the way it is sourced.
