Black Gorilla Hair is a shredded redwood bark that, like our other colored mulches, it is colored with a dye that is non-toxic to people, pets, and the environment.
Sloped Terrain? No Problem!
Black Gorilla Hair is a great mulch for use on a sloped terrain, as it is less likely to slide down and gather at the bottom due to its fibrous, stringy texture that mats together and forms a blanket layer that clings to the terrain. If the grade of the slope is too steep, however, you may also need to combine with a jute netting. Most recommendations call for a 3” thick mulch application.
We can bag the bulk product for you as well. Bags contain approx 2 cubic feet. There are 27 cubic feet in 1 cubic yard.
