Both of our recycling facilities are located within 2 blocks of each other.
- C&D Recycling - 725 Indpendent Road, Oakland, CA
- Inert & Green Waste Recycling - 5900 Coliseum Way, Oakland, CA

Upon arrivial to our facility, proceed directly to the scale to begin the intake & transaction process.
At the scale house, our licensed Deputy Weighmaster will:
- Ask questions to identify your load
- Confirm the origin and contents of the material
- Check for any known hazards (Please disclose)
Hazardous Materials Are Not Accepted - We reserve the right to refuse any load or portion of a load for any reason.
Our licensed Deputy Weighmaster who operates the scale house will ask a series of questions to help properly identify the incoming materials. Be prepared to tell the weighmaster where the waste material originated from. For our safety and yours, please disclose any known hazards at this time. You may be directed to keep certain materials on your vehicle. We do no accept any hazardous materials. We also reserve the right to refuse any incoming load or portion of any load for ANY reason.
After the load has been weighed, as a returning customer, we use the Tare (empty) weight from your previous visit to calculate how much material you are dumping in the current load and charge the appropriate fee. If your vehicle has been modified in any way (extra fuel, low fuel, added lumber rack, removed camper shell, etc) or you have material that will be staying on the vehicle after dumping; anything that might affect the accuracy of our stored Tare Weight, we request to be informed and that a new Tare Weight is established by reweighing after dumping.

Following the instrucitons of the scale operator and other site staff, you will be directed to a location on the tipping pad where your vehicle can be unloaded. Your material will again be reviewed by staff in the tipping area as part of our load checking protocol to keep prohibited materials from entering our facility. Staff will be sorting through materials in the area and large equipment will be operating within close proximity.
For Your Safety:
- Stay with your vehicle at all times
- Do not wander or rummage through materials
- Stay Alert -- other vehicles & heavy machinery may be operating nearby.

While you are unloading, our team will:
Review your load again to ensure compliance
Sort and process materials onsite
Operate heavy machinery nearby — stay alert
Dusty materials may be sprayed down in the vacinity to help with dust prevention.

Our trained staff sort the incoming materials for maximum recovery and recycling. We separate out recyclable items including as metal, wood, concrete, metal, and green waste for processing.
Our recent diversion rates are publically available via the Recycling Certification Institute.
NOTICE: You are required to stay near your vehicle at all times. Do not wander around the site, and do not attempt to rummage through material that is on the ground. Dusty materials may be wet down by our staff to prevent airborne nuisance dust. Site staff may assist with the unloading of material, but this is not always an option due to workload constraints or other factors. Site staff may place certain prohibited items back onto your vehicle if they are discovered in your material.
